Where It All Begins
Swish Starters is the entry point to everything Swish Solutions is about. If your child is being introduced to basketball for the first time — or has dabbled but never had real coaching — this is exactly where they need to be.
We believe in building love for the game before we build skills. That means every session is fun, structured, and encouraging. No kid gets left behind, no kid feels embarrassed, and every kid leaves wanting to come back.
By the end of their time in Starters, players have the foundational skills, confidence, and basketball IQ to step into our Young Strivers travel program or compete comfortably in any recreational league.
What Your Player Will Learn
Every session builds toward becoming a complete basketball player
Dribbling
Proper hand placement, control, and ball-handling drills that build confidence on the move.
Shooting Mechanics
BEEF technique, footwork, and repetition that builds a consistent, correct shot from day one.
Passing & Teamwork
Chest passes, bounce passes, and the fundamentals of moving the ball as a team.
Footwork & Athleticism
Defensive slides, pivoting, and movement patterns that make every other skill easier.
Rules of the Game
Court awareness, basic rules, positions, and how to understand what's happening in a real game.
Confidence & Love for the Game
We build love for basketball before we build skills. Every kid leaves excited to come back.
