Why Swish Solutions Exists
Growing up, I was self-taught. I had the passion, determination, and work ethic, but I didn't have the guidance to master the details — the footwork, shooting mechanics, basketball IQ, and the preparation that separates good players from great ones.
I learned through trial and error, setbacks, and years of experience. That journey eventually led me to earn a Division II basketball scholarship at Humboldt State University. But when I got there, I realized that talent and heart alone weren't enough. I wasn't fully prepared to compete at the level I had worked so hard to reach.
That experience changed everything.
I created Swish Solutions to ensure young athletes have the coaching, mentorship, and development I wish I had growing up. Our mission goes beyond teaching basketball — we help athletes build confidence, discipline, leadership, and the habits that lead to success both on and off the court.
At Swish Solutions, we believe every athlete deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential through intentional coaching, a positive community, and a commitment to continuous growth.

Raven Herrington
Founder, CEO & Head Coach
Former D2 Scholarship Athlete · Saddleback CC 1st Team All-Conference (x2)
Raven has been playing basketball since she was 5 years old. Self-taught and hungry, she worked her way to play at Saddleback Community College where she earned 1st Team All-Conference honors both years — then earned a scholarship to Humboldt State University (D2). But after years of grinding without the right guidance on technique, footwork, and IQ, she rode the bench when she finally made it. That experience became the fuel. Raven built Swish Solutions so no young athlete has to learn the hard way. She also served as Director at Magic Elite Basketball and continues to play semi-professionally today.

Coach Chris leads all strength and conditioning programming for Swish Solutions. He trains our club athletes with sport-specific lifting, agility drills, and athletic development principles that give our players a physical edge. He also coaches for our club teams and Swish League program.

Program Strategy & Growth
Brittney manages the strategic direction and growth of Swish Solutions, ensuring the program continues to expand its reach and impact throughout the community. She helps shape partnerships, program development, and the overall vision for the organization.
Maria Herrington
Business Operations Manager
Business Operations & Administration
Maria keeps the day-to-day operations of Swish Solutions running smoothly. From administrative logistics to family communications and organizational management, Maria ensures that every player and parent has a seamless experience from registration through game day.
